Where Ambition Meets Anointing

Devika Brij Maurice has spent her career navigating the space between ambition and surrender—building inside some of the world’s most influential companies, launching a global talent and leadership development firm and following God without treating faith as separate from the way she works, leads and lives.

Today, as a Speaker, Author and Leadership Strategist, she helps professionals lead with faith, navigate a changing world of work and steward their careers, gifts and calling with clarity and conviction.

Her work speaks especially to women who want to grow without making achievement their identity, adapt without abandoning their values and remain anchored in Christ through leadership, career transitions and real life.

Who I Serve

I serve Christian professional women who refuse to treat faith as a Sunday identity and leadership as a workday performance.

She may lead a team, advance inside an organization, develop a new idea, serve in ministry or carry a calling that extends beyond her current title.

She is navigating a workplace where roles are evolving, expectations are shifting and the path that once felt predictable no longer does. She is asking how to remain relevant, how to use what God has given her and how to move forward without allowing fear or ambition to determine who she becomes.

She does not need abstract encouragement. She needs biblical truth, practical wisdom and the confidence to adapt without abandoning who Christ has called her to be.

She is ambitious and surrendered. Accomplished and still becoming. She wants to grow without making achievement her identity, lead without compromising her convictions and navigate change without losing her faith, purpose or sense of self.

THE WOMAN RECONSIDERING HER WORTH

For the high-achieving professional whose identity became entangled with her title, company or career timeline and who needs to remember that a change in work does not change her worth in Christ.

THE WOMAN NAVIGATING A CHANGING WORLD OF WORK

For the professional watching roles, industries and expectations shift and asking how to remain relevant, use her gifts and move forward with faith rather than fear.

THE WOMAN IN THE WILDERNESS

For the woman in a season of delay, disruption or transition who is watching others move forward and wondering what God is developing in her while clarity feels delayed.

THE WOMAN ON ASSIGNMENT

For the leader in the workplace, ministry or marketplace who is ready to stop performing for rooms God never called her to and begin stewarding her influence, opportunities and gifts with courage and obedience.

About Devika Brij Maurice

Devika spent more than a decade building her career in technology, including roles at Google and LinkedIn across marketing, sales, human resources and project management. Her experience inside global organizations gave her a firsthand understanding of how leadership, workplace systems and access to opportunity shape the careers of talented professionals.

After experiencing an unjust termination, Devika was forced to confront how deeply identity can become connected to a title, company and career trajectory. What initially felt like a devastating disruption became a season in which God reshaped her understanding of worth, leadership and calling and ultimately became the catalyst for a new assignment.

In 2019, she founded Brij the Gap Consulting, a global talent and leadership development firm that helps organizations bridge the gap between employee potential and performance. Through Brij the Gap, Devika has equipped professionals and leaders across organizations including Google, Visa, Meta, Nike, Samsung and Morgan Stanley.

Her work focuses on the human capabilities that remain essential as careers and workplaces evolve: self-advocacy, adaptability, communication, influence, visibility and the ability to clearly articulate one’s value.

Devika is also certified in AI-Driven Leadership through Stanford University, strengthening her ability to help professionals discern, adapt and lead faithfully as careers and workplaces continue to evolve.

She is the award-winning author of Thrive in Color: How to Master Self-Advocacy and Command Your Career as an Underrepresented Professional, and is writing her second book, Carry Your Mantle, which explores what it means to recognize, accept and faithfully steward the gifts and assignments God has entrusted to us.

In addition to her corporate and speaking work, Devika serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at Activate Church, where she teaches the Word of God and creates spaces for women to grow in faith, community and purpose.

Her insights have been featured in Bloomberg, CNBC, NBC, Forbes, Business Insider and Essence. She is also a featured speaker on AAE Speakers Bureau and speaks at corporate leadership conferences, faith-and-work gatherings, women’s events, churches and organizations globally.

Whether she is speaking about career advancement, leadership, calling, workforce change or seasons of waiting, Devika brings together biblical truth, practical strategy and lived experience to help people lead with faith, navigate change with confidence and steward what God has placed in their hands.
